It is especially relevant that in his first Dean's Report, Roger Huang reflects upon change and the balancing act of innovation with Mendoza's tradition of excellence and ethics.

His elevation to dean a year ago in itself has meant change for Mendoza. And this change in leadership comes during a time when the College is changing through the addition of new graduate programs, esteemed new faculty and new opportunities to manifest our mission. It is an exciting time.

Dean Huang is committed to ensuring that the Mendoza alumni remains a strong part of the College community. With this commitment comes another change: The Dean's Report will now be integrated into the fall edition of Notre Dame Business.

In this current issue, Dean Huang describes his MAGI vision—Mission, Academic Excellence, Globalization and Innovation—for the Mendoza College.
