Featuring a traditional Collegiate Gothic brick-and-stone exterior, the Stayer Center for Executive Education will become the home of the Mendoza College of Business Executive Education, supporting and serving working professionals through the Executive MBA degree programs, as well as custom and open Executive Programs. In contrast to the building’s classic exterior, the interior will sport contemporary design and finishes that convey an inviting and forward-thinking environment.
The three-story, 54,000-square-foot structure will occupy the land just south of the Mendoza College of Business. The facility will include a two-story grand concourse, chapel, five classrooms, small team breakout rooms, an executive lounge, a multi-purpose room and administrative offices. The building design features two-story windows, which will connect students, participants and staff with the campus and allow natural light to stream into the building.
Groundbreaking is tentatively planned for fall 2010 if total funding is achieved, with a completion target of spring 2012.
